I myself know little about the effects of Global warming,so if you could tell me one piece of information about the consequences of global warming,what would you tell me?

spongin Global warming is a consequence of man-made CO2 emissions, another consequence of those is 'ocean acidification' which is decreasing the ocean's alkalinity which is killing off coral reefs. :-(

spongin It's too late to prevent global warming (and we can't really completely stop climate change as a whole either), but we can do things to slow it down, such as cutting CO2 emissions.

It is not fair. As we use tooth brush, toothpaste, gloss, brushing liquid etc. However, our teeth are still not as durable as animals' teeth. Can anybody tell me why?

spongin I think our teeth start off fine, it's just our diets tend to be very destructive. For example, I've had two small bottles of Dr. Pepper in the past 12 hours, I think that's a tad excessive.

I have 2 Beta fish in my store ( separate bowls) and almost all the people who come in tap on the glass to check to see if they are alive..so i have to tell them yes..they are alive but sleeping. Now why is it they think this?...

spongin Cory cats aren't really algae eaters. I don't recommend getting Chinese algae eaters, I've read they can pose a risk to other fish in the tank by apparently eating the slime coat off them. I've never had them myself, but the frequency in which I've read this...

spongin I stole a library book once. As in deliberately kept it out. For a very long time. Anyway, I worked for a library for awhile, and having done so, I find their policy to be very understandable. You lost their property, after all. :-P

i think till now i never read any article about it. it is not possible to become infected with an STD as a result of kissing However, you could pass on cold sores (herpes simplex, HSV1) to your partner through kissing.

spongin I think it's pretty much just herpes 1. I wouldn't kiss someone who had an STD though... especially not if it was active and there was any risk of there being cuts in their mouth... seems like a bad idea. ;-)

It seems that the right thing to do is always to help each other out. If there are people starving in a country, then other countries should give them food right? What if that country that can't feed themselves keeps increasing...

spongin Natural selection is happening all the time, Consider Italian wall lizards and Galapagos finches. Both have been observed in the past few decades to have undergo change in response to their environments.
