steerpyke definatley the book, for all its faults Brown has a fairly dscriptive style which moves the story along. The film seemed to drag.

steerpyke if the US had not joined the war the whole of Europe would probably have been called The Soviet Union more probably. Russia's ability to supply its troops with equipment would have out run Germany and the Western allies put together.

steerpyke I am lucky enough to live in Wiltshire England and 15 miles down the road from me is Avebury, a massive stone cirlce, so big that is encompasses the village itself. The site, including much of the surviving stones can be dated to 6000BC. Thats pretty old.
