I guess it would really depend on the type and genre of the music, how bad of a depression you're in, and what the song really means to you. Of course if you listen to dark depressing music when you're already down, it's not likely to help your depression...

i totally agree!...with you!...i guess if you are in a good mood, you can listen to fast songs!...but if you are depressed or a bit low!..we can listen to soft healing songs!..and get a bit happier!!

i would say yes. But that depends on what type and genre of music. If i'm not in a good mood and i listen to some really heavy music, i would get even more blacker. I find that classical and soft music does do good to me.
