Does anyone have a good recipe, that they actually use themselves, for a nice potato bake that DOESN'T have bacon in it? I don't want people to just google it. I can do that myself. I'd like actual tried and true recipes if anyone...

Has anyone heard about this site? I think it's a pretty neat site and really brings needlework crafters together. If you really want to find some amazing patterns, and even advice, I would suggest getting an invite. It doesn't...

twilight021 I've been knitting for many years and I will relying on that skill both for keeping warm and for gifts this holiday season. I'm horrible at sewing so I'll be sticking with knitting for sure!
I will also be relying on some more "natural" gifts. In fact many...

I decided to try needle felting, as I've seen all kinds of animals and things done with it, I found it is so much fun that it's a regular craft for me.
Have you found a new craft that you're trying, what is it and what...

twilight021 Needling felting is fun! It's a good way to get out your frustrations too.
I've done machine felting....where you felt knitted items, and then sometimes I have added a little decorations to these things with needle felting.
One craft that I would like...

I am a pretty easygoing person, and my career is working as a video editor/graphic Designer in houston. It's usually easy going, and it gives me time to do my own little graphic things like make my friends look like Zombies in...

twilight021 When I get into situations like that I try to seperate things out to deal with them in smaller increments, rather than in one big scary overwhelmin chunk.
Maybe you can take 1 day off from work and do all your halloween costume stuff, or at least make a...

I'm on a fixed income and lost a good percentage of it a few months ago, so I'm scrimping and saving every way that I can. I'm a very frugal person to begin with, but I've had to take it even further than normal.
I've been...

twilight021 I pay my electric bill online so I can track how much power I use each month and see what my high use months are. Of course the colder months are worst, especially since we have electric heat (though given the cost of heating oil it wasn't too bad).
In the...

I'm sure we've all made a number of adjustments to our way of living to bridge the gap between the amount of money coming into the bank account and the amount going out. With gas and food prices continually rising, what steps do...

My place isn't very big so I have been storing yarn in a closet roack. This seems to work, but I am considering getting rid of some of what I have. There is a craft store...

helper for dinner? I went to the pantry and have no ideas. But did find 2 boxes of the stuff. With hamburger in the fridge it does seem a logical choice. What would you serve with it?

How much did everyone love that episode. So, I read that there would be three deaths of originals. I am sad about Jin. I really had high hopes that he was still alive after Sun was mourning him in the episode where she had her...

I only know one way to make beans.
Ham, beans in a crockpot for 8-10 hours. I substituted turkey last time I made it. Very good.
I am looking for more though.
