Wilbet28 I agree -- this sounds pretty awful to me too. The Gorton's fish fillets are good though with a side salad and bread. They make a quick, easy meal.

Does anyone have a good recipe for barbeque chicken that doesn't require baking for a long time in the oven. It is so hot here that I'm trying to avoid using the oven if possible. Thanks!

Wilbet28 Thanks for your reply. My mother used to bake chicken covered with barbecue sauce in the oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours and it was very tender and good. But it is too hot to run the oven for an hour or two so I will probably try the stove-top method.

Wilbet28 That's a good idea. I haven't tried the wire cages yet, but I think that I will get some. I've also decided to move them to my porch -- they won't get quite as much sun there, but I don't think that the animals will come up on the porch to eat them.
