What happened to my earnings?

After the earlier update, I had a total of $4.51 in my account, but after the most recent one, the total has gone down to 2.72... What happened here, why wuld my total ever go down? My rating has stayed the same.

DeepThought Yes, she has seen a couple of doctors. I do have some family that can take over occasionally, but unfortunately I cannot expect them to do so at two in the morning. Anyway, thanks for your input, I will look into the remedies you mentioned.
