Though I do not like the Rain...So glad to see it as we have not had a really good rain since Helene hit the panhandle and NC. All we got from Helene was Rain...then NOTHING..No rain at all until last week we got a Sprinkle like...

Tom has a colonoscopy Wed. So I made him meatloaf, taters, and green beans for supper. He won't be able to eat anything tomorrow night. I went to heart doctor today. He said unless I have any problems just keep taking my meds...

TaxiLady @porwest I have not seen ground beef under $3.99 a pound in a year or more. My aunt always used 1 1/2lbs so I use her recipe. She always put onion, 5 crackers, milk, and an egg in hers. I added McCormacks Hamburger seasoning.

We had BBQ Pork Chops, Au Gratin Potatoes, and Broccoli for supper. Pork Chops were a little Tough. Now that I can actually SEE what is on my computer. Getting the Printer set up will be next. Tried once, but just got tired....

Today Tom went to do some things and stopped at the AmVets. I got a call from his friend who asked me to come get him as he should not be driving. Went and picked him up..he was way more drunk than I have seen him in Years!! So...

TaxiLady He slept a couple of hours..woke up and wanted to go get his truck. I took him to get it. And he ate dinner, so her is doing good. Hasn't coughed much tonight at all. Me neither. I think we did good getting out of this house. LOL

TaxiLady They cancelled his appt. He has bronchitis...going to the doctor tomorrow. I told him to go last week when it started, but you know how men are....they are fine until they are NOT fine.

TaxiLady Ground beef runs around $5 a pound depending on where you get it here. When I make meatloaf, I go to Piggly Wiggly or Grocery Outlet because Walmart only has 1lb packages and my recipe calls for 1 1/2 lbs. I use Walmart ground chuck for tacos. LOL

TaxiLady @yukimori ok..The new unit is Windows 11..old unit is Windows 10. Tried doing the F8, but it just keeps coming up about the timing. I brought up the monitor menu and I could see the resolution, but can not get to it to change it.That was while using my OLD...

TaxiLady I found out how to change the settings on the monitor..worked with a tech today, and it kept coming up that my monitor was out of timing...that I needed 1920 x1080 60hz No idea what that means and the tech tried everything. She suggested getting a Dp to VGA...

TaxiLady The screw in plug on the back of the computer only has 9 studs..so the plug on the monitor that I use with my old computer has 15 studs.

TaxiLady Where would I find out what input my monitor is on? I do have a installed graphics., Here is a picture of the back of my computer. On the back of the monitor there is a place for one of those screw in type plugs with 15 studs, and beside it a display slot.

Went back to Best Buy...returned the HDMI adapter...went to find something else...NO one to help...Yesterday there were workers all over the place..busy..Today there were just a FEW and they were SWAMPED. Trust me with the prices...
