Well I am watching the old documentary from 1964 about how Christmas was the darkest night for the poverty stricken parents and children in Kentucky.
Poverty persists in this region.
Why on earth doesn't help reach these people...

TaxiLady Grew up in a small town...and glad I did. But you are right about everyone knowing everyone elses business. A girl in my senior class got pregnant and they would not let her be in the graduation, but she got her diploma, just couldn't be a part of graduation....
