which do you find easiest to do? I've been crocheting for 30 years but every now and then I see a pattern I like that's knitted. I'm wondering if I should 'give it a go'. So for those of you who know how to do both, was one easier...

Greenberry I learned to crochet about 40 years ago, too, and have tried repeatedly in the last ten years or so to learn to knit. Without much success until recently. I find knitting to be a lot slower than crochet; the stitches just don't take up as much room per row....

I would love to make a littel extra money by selling some of my crafts at a craft show. The way gas is going up and how the economy is getting, do you think people are still going to buy crafts or save their money for needs...

Greenberry Unusual items are still selling in our area; folks that don't make anything at all themselves like my little purses because they are unusual. Mostly I sell spinning fiber to other spinners and my hand spun yarn to knitters. I do think that people are thinking...

I love to crochet, cross-stitch, embroider, do machine embroidery, and I'm trying to get better at knitting. What kind of arts/crafts can you do?

Greenberry I used to do needlepoint, then cross-stitch, and I've been crocheting since I was about nine. I learned to hand spin in the mid-1980s and I've been doing that and crocheting the most. Felting and needle-felting is also a lot of fun but hard on the hands and...

As much as I love my computer, and I do write my final versions of my stories into the computer, I still love to write the old fashioned way...with paper and pen...I don't know why, but it's like I feel more "connected" with my...

Greenberry I used to be a die-hard pen and paper writer, but over time I found that using the computer works better for me. I can type a lot faster than I can write, and the ideas just seem to flow better. I type my rough draft, then run it off and make corrections by...

Greenberry I don't recommend my method, but all of my dogs, except for the time I bred Samoyeds, have been the result of someone having an unwanted puppy that needed a home. My Lily, the Springer Spaniel cross that currently rules my life, was abandoned at the home of an...

And who gave it? Compliments have the knack of making anyone and everyone very happy.
Its a form of adulation which we get when we do something very nice and hence deserve it.Sometimes a very simple and straight-forward remark...

Greenberry The best compliment I ever received was just like getting a gift. A lady that I look up to a lot said something about me to an actress that was not only complimentary, but it made me realize something about myself that I hadn't quite known before. A very...

Talking is the most pwerful medium of expression.
But some people are more expressive than the others. They talk a lot.But some like to be quiet and talk only when necessary.
But for company a chatter-box is more welcome than a...

Greenberry I'd rather listen than talk. Most of the time I'll ask someone a question to get them talking. I'm interested in a lot of things and also interested in people, so there's always something fun to talk about. As a companion I like someone who likes to talk about...

A friend of mine is engaged to be married to a much younger girl. He is 35 and she is 23. I like her a lot, but rememeber what 23 was like. It seems like to me that they would not have a whole lot in common..Seems like they are at...

I'm devastated Billi Piper chose to leave the show. Her character's relationship with both incarnations of the Doctor is what made the show for me.
When Chris Eccelston left I didn't think the show would survive, now a year...
