Juszie Absolutely.. Checking expiry date is a must. It only take less than a minute but can save your life or the ones you love. So, for me, ALWAYS check expiry date

Juszie I think torrent is safe. I've downloaded so many times from torrents, got some viruses, mostly from cracked or keygen file that mistakenly detected with my antivirus. As long as you're careful when you open the files, no problem at all.

Juszie I prefer firefox, I've been using firefox so long so I don't remember when I start. Google chrome is good. If you want recommendation between Chrome and IE, then definitely Chrome because IE sucks and has too many security holes.

Some virus are really nasty, it either slows down internet connection or totally messes up your files. I think the worst I've come across is the Trojan virus coz its too persistent and hard to remove by simply scanning the system....

Juszie Beside MS Office, there are some word processor. There's Open Office, Star Office. These 2 word processors even free since they're open source. There also Lotus, and from old times there are Word Perfect, Wordstar, and many more.

Juszie You can choose any brand, but make sure the after sales service is available in your town. If budget is not an issue you can choose a quad core processor with at least 4GB RAM and 1GB dedicated VGA and also 320GB Hard drive.
