MaddisMom I take my daughter to the store with me and see what she plays with, what she get's excited about, which toys she doesn't want to leave, etc. It really, really helped with Christmas shopping this year.

MaddisMom I did when I was younger. I think I put out a "leave me the hell alone" vibe now. COntrary to what men think, it does not make women happy when you openly check them out and act all piggish. It makes a decent woman feel angry and a bit unclean.

MaddisMom I think they are horrible. I will not be purchasing anything of the sort for my daughter. I don't understand the obsession with them in the first place. They are scary looking, quite frankly.

MaddisMom I always make up a gift basket with diapers (not newborn size...they aren't in those very long), wipes, diaper cream, Mylicon drops, infant Tylenol...essentials. Sometimes I throw in a baby classical CD and things like that. I put it in a cute laundry basket...

MaddisMom Straight to underwear! I have seen too many children confused by pull ups, since they are basically diapers. I think pull ups are nothing more than a ploy the diaper companies use to keep you buying their products longer. It's genious.
