I just started obedience classes with my 7 month old English Mastiff she is 96 pounds and the dog trainer recommends a choke chain .I feel so mean pulling on this, am i going to choke my dog to get her to learn?

Moonprysm I think it really depends on the personality of your dog. I had a dog who would not learn. Choke chains were an absolutely no-no with her, because she would pull and choke herself until she nearly passed out or threw up. She never learned that if she'd stop...

Moonprysm Have you ever considered cloth nappies? They're a lot cheaper than buying disposables, and if you don't get ones with fleece or "stay dry" inners, they allow the child to feel that they're wet (while disposables don't) and generally lead to earlier potty...

Moonprysm It depends. If I've eaten a lot of it lately, I find that I crave it. But if I go several weeks without eating it at all, I can't even think of eating it without my stomach getting into knots. It's very weird.
