Why people often prefer jeans?

I have seen most of the people will prefer jeans pant and shirt.Why do they prefer ? Is that for the comfort that we are getting in that material? Or we are not getting the comfort in any other dress material?

Malaysia is getting hotter. the heat from the sun really burns, and the light is actually hard for the eye. I can't keep my eyes from opening because of it. The warming of the earth has affected Malaysia to an extreme condition....
