Rape is the most heinous crime in my view, much more dreadful than murder. Rapist not only commit a crime he also damage the soul of the victim.

artistmel2000 Thanks, but I've learned quite a bit in the 22 years since that incident. My best revenge now is living well and being happy. He can't touch me and now he is old and I just see him as pathetic.

artistmel2000 Oh no, it'd have to be a star chamber type thing, or just let me do it myself. Again, my fantasy of his death is very violent. But, the difference between me and the state is that I'll give him an opportunity to live, but it is a decision HE has to make....

euniceeleanor try not to start repetitive discussions. before starting, check from the search toolbar (top left hand corner) on whether similar discussions have been started or not. try by asking more thought provoking questions and dont ask anything that require oneliner...

_hope_ the thought of a death penality would certainly mean more deaths of the victims a life sentance in harder conditions would do better as a punishment .The victim has a life time sentance it`s something they do not forget it`s with them for life

aiguy01 If you make rape the death penalty you will be removing any incentive from the rapist to leave the victim alive. With a death sentence hanging over their head, why would they leave a witness? And then the rape victim can't testify and prevent the rapist...
