I chose to have an epidural during labor. It made childbirth a piece of cake. I couldn't feel a thing. Was anyone out there brave enough to go without an epidural? How bad was it?

I am a big 7th Heaven fan and was so excited when I found out they were going to do an 11th season, but have been kind of disappointed with it so far. Does anyone else have any thoughts?

astone83 The contractions that I felt before the epidural didn't feel too bad to me. I think they started me out with a small amount of pitocin and then gradually increased it.

astone83 Yes, both were talked about. We learned some breathing and relaxation techniques, but I didn't use them during child birth because I didn't feel the need to.

astone83 Thanks for your response. I am aware that I can get pregnant even though my period hasn't returned. I'm on the pill, but I am terrible at remembering to take it. LOL

I use Target brand diapers. They are cheap and work just as well as the name brands. I am just curious what other people use.

astone83 I tried Huggies when my daughter was first born, but they leaked all the time. Maybe it was because she was so small and they didn't fit her tight enough or maybe it was because she is a girl. I have heard before that Huggies are better for boys and Pampers...
