Gardening in Sandy Soil?

Does anyone have any advice for gardening in sandy soil. We recently moved to and area of ND where the soil is like this. I'm used the the soil in Missouri which sticks together a lot more!

bork5111 I always try to be myself around anyone I meet. There are times I act a little different around certain people like my in laws. They have very dry personalities so wjen I am around them I am not joking around as much.

bork5111 I have a 2 year old and he loves books. I hope we can keep his interest in books and reading. We read in the mornings when he wakes up and read to him at night before he goes to bed. Which is nice since it helps him to calm down from playing all day.
