Thinking about getting a pit bull, but of course I'm a little apprehensive due to all the crazy stories I've heard. Any suggestions from anyone who has had a pit bull on what I should know before getting one?

ButtrflyDreams If they're Mexican, then they're not the American Pit Bull Terrier. Just because they have papers does not mean they're pure. There are a lot of people that trick the registries. Also, there are a lot of registries that will register anything.

ButtrflyDreams Sometimes a pittie's hips can go in odd angles when they're trying to get their balance or stay on their feet. Their hips will look like they're out of joint or whatever but they're really not. He's probably fine, but see what your vet says. :)
