captainoats All this means is that a new line has come in, Vista.. And since it had released an Service Pack windows xp production must be put to a stop while they focus more on perfecting the new OS. Going off market however does not mean that you would not find them...

captainoats When Internet Explorer was only at its 6th version I chose firefox cause of the feeling when you browse..For some reason it just seems smoother when compared to using IE...Now that IE7 is common and has tabs I think it is close to firefox but not as smooth....

captainoats I used to be an AVG user but after an encounter with this particular virus I switched to AVAST coz it was able to detect it...for some reason AVG didnt despite all the updates. AVAST also has automatic updates so its cool. Other than that...I back it up...

captainoats I use AVAST! ... I was using AVG before for a long time but then one day my sister brought home a diskette which had some weird file on it...I think it came from the computer shop she went to..While using AVG, I noticed that it was creating a folder in folders...

captainoats I guess for a strictly gaming pc AMD would be your choice..but if you are not tight on budget..Id go directly to the top of the line intel processors.... get 2-3gb of ram.. a motherboard expandable up to 4... top of the line NVIDIA or ATI graphics card with...

captainoats desktop? id go for DELL...you could customize it to become a super system..home entertainment sytem for games music and movies.. you should be able to get yourself a 20" widescreen LCD monitor...aint that just brilliant...and good speakers as well..go for dual...

captainoats its more of what do you use it for...if you want to replace diskettes and save files that are less than 800mb then cds would do just fine... if i wanted to save large files id definetely go for the dvd rather than splitting up the files into two or more...
