Why do they drink their beer out of such small bottles in the USA?

Even the German beers, which would normally come in 500ml bottles are reduced to about 2/3 of their size for the US market. The same with the Brit beer, Newcastle Brown Ale. Just wondered. Must be American tastes?

ccc8230 I havn't been to any...yet. First choice is Machu Picchu. (I think it is one of the old 7 wonders but could be wrong) There is something very mystical about it that draws me like no other place. I hope to get there in 2012.

ccc8230 I played on Full Tilt a fair amount- never won much but never lost much either. Really enjoyed the single table tournaments. But the geniuses in Olympia made it illegal to play for real money omline in the state of WA so i dont play anymore.:(

ccc8230 I would highly recommend anything by Tess Gerritsen. Her books are of the medical thriller genre and very well written. I have read almost all of her books and have loved them all. Also, Jonathan Kellerman's "Alex Delaware" novels are exceptional.
