Copy and paste? Why do need to have 500 posts in order to do it? It makes it very difficult to post accurate links to internet sites! That is the main reason this makes me upset! I try to paste in a link and it will not let me! :(...

chaunce54 I understand the anti-spamming thing, but 500 posts seems a bit excessive to me. I think they should lower it to about 100 - 200. I don't think spammers are going to want to put that kind of effort into it to get that many posts, but I could be wrong.

chaunce54 Most newer computers allow you to do that. My laptop is capable of booting from a flash drive, and I thought I might like to run a version of Linux in this manner.

chaunce54 Yes, that's true. Macs are now running on intel processors. Vista is definately more secure, but that security is what is causing alot of the compatibility issues and lag in the system. It's a tradeoff between security and a smoother operating system.

chaunce54 Yes you can! It is a great golf game, and the online play is quite addicting. They give out little upgrades for placing in the top twenty percent in some of the tournaments, makes it very fun!

chaunce54 You make a nice point here. When Humans make anything they are inherently flawed, and probably wouldn't pose much of a threat, at least not for a few decades. If the AI gets to the point where they can create on their own, what they create will be much less...

chaunce54 I disagree, I think that is a great rule change. I thought it was just fine before they implemented this rule, and I'm glad they changed it back. That rule really handcuffed defensive backs even more than they already were. Taking away these judgement calls...

I have a Benq CD burner since 2003 and it has worked fine until a few months ago, but now the only thing I can do on it is burn CDs. It doesn't read them anymore. I mean it will read a store bought CD, but no burnt ones anymore....

chaunce54 It is pretty cheap these days to buy a new optical drive. These older burners are starting to die, and the easiest and least frustrating thing to do would be to put in a new one.

chaunce54 I would say if it is less than 5 years old, it should have one. If it doesn't a good solution would be to get a wireless router, which is really nice for laptops :), and you can purchase a usb wireless adapter to use with it to connect to the internet.

chaunce54 True, a memory upgrade is probably the answer. I don't see why a celeron processor would make a difference. I am running vista on a celeron processor with no problems. If you have less than 1GB, you definately want to get more, I would reccommend 2GB.
