daudzaid1 No, absolutely not . you can't without reloading the whole page because php is server side language while , javascript is client side .

daudzaid1 Well ,its possible ,You could get the sender's ip address from "show original" button in gmail. and you could trace the ip to get the location. But a clever sender can spoof email address or can use proxy server . so you can't rely on the ip address you get.
