Gina Wow, that's a long time. We've had almost persistent rain for nearly five days and it's already driving me crazy. I'm afraid I don't find long gray rainy days very inspiring. I'm spending far too much time sitting at my computer.

Gina I was surprised when I first found out there was such a phobia, but I believe it's quite common. I'm not aware of anyone I've met who's afraid of clowns though.

Gina I guess I need to try this too. My glasses always look awful. The trouble is that there's a non-reflective coating on them which is probably wearing off so I'm not sure they'll ever look good.

Gina Like most of the people who've commented, I've tried honey in tea. Mostly I don't sweeten my tea or coffee though. I have enough sugar in chocolate without adding it to hot drinks.

Gina I've seen those birds around here, but only grown up ones so I've never experienced that. But I've seen videos of other bird species standing up to big animals that way. Strangely the birds I've encountered up close (not plovers but birds of a similar size)...

Well, not anymore. The "Rhinestone Cowboy" died last night at age 81. He had Alzheimer's but didn't let it keep him down. He released his last record, Adios, just this past June. RIP

Gina Alzheimer's is a horrible disease. Although his album was only released in June, apparently it was recorded between 2012 and 2013. If he was anything like the people I've known who had Alzheimer's, he probably wasn't even aware of that album being released.
