To punish by sending to bed much earlier than usual without supper although with a drink? If you punish this way what time do you send them up and is it lights out immediately or can they read first?

guybrush Hahahaha - trust me to miss the whole point of the question! Yes, they DID go to bed early if there'd been shenanigans! Can't remember whether there was a strict 'lights out' rule in that case - but it seems likely. Mind you, there was often a lot of giggling...
