JanetBRudman Not long after I said I would be trying to get another position, my woman boss interviewed a lady from another section. After announcing that this lady would be replacing me, my woman boss told me that I had to train the new secretary!

JanetBRudman My fave TV ads are: Begging Strips for dogs, Swifter mop, V-8, Geico (w/the gecko), and Glade. I actually bought the dusters and mop, which are great. I have no need for car insurance or dog food. I buy air sanitizer from Avon (ooo, my bad).

JanetBRudman I had that problem, and used the checks. But it's not a good idea, since the current interest is promotional. The credit card company can increase it any time. You might be better off cashing in any CD's or bonds. Of course there is the matter of tax.

JanetBRudman When I worked, I had two dreads - answering phones, and relieving/covering for whatever secretary was out that day. It meant working at another desk, office, with a Director or Administrator ordering me around, doing chores/jobs that I knew little about, etc....
