jeepdrvr1980 I'd rather keep inside the USA. There's so much of it that I haven't seen, and I know that I don't have to have a passport to travel in country. There's a lot to see.

jeepdrvr1980 Neither. Doctors don't have the patient-to-patient interaction that I like to have. I would rather be an assistant or general manager somewhere else.

jeepdrvr1980 We had a cat that died last year. I had him from the time I was five. I'm 26. We had to put him down. We didn't want to, but he was senile, he wasn't able to take care of himself, he couldn't eat ... he was miserable. He was suffering. It had to be done....

jeepdrvr1980 It's a good idea. Also, if your friend is in the position where he needs a blood transfusion, I doubt that he will be awake to tell someone that he doesn't want it. The hospital would apply implied consent to him, and he would get it.
