judysims To be a seamstress, one has to be a seamstress every day of the year. I don't mean you have to sew every day, just live by the year instead of by the day. Get to know the fabric shops in your area and which days out of the year, they have their best sales....

judysims Your problem is tention. Remember that your left hand is your tention machine, while working the stitches with your right hand. Practise that chain until it looks even all the way through. If you'll just keep practicing that chain, you'll train your hand....
