I sometimes put my baby in his high chair to watch cartoons while I'm doing other things. I feel guilty, though. Do you think it's okay to let him watch? If so, how long would be too long?

juleek I wouldn't let a 1 year old spend too much time in front of the T.V.. Your child is in the process of developing habits and T.V. shouldn't be a habit but a treat that is viewed discriminately on occassions.

juleek It is VERY important to discuss money matters before a couple gets married. Spending habits can vary and it will help a young couple stay out of arguements if they resolve money problems before they get marrried.

juleek I have read that yawning is contageous. If you see someone yawn, you will yawn. I think yawning is a form of trying to force yourself to stay awake.

juleek I don't think anyone is ready for all that marriage entails. There is no way to prepare someone for all of the "surprises" a person gets after they are married.

juleek Not everyone is like your husband. He sounds immature and probably he wsn't ready for marriage in the first place. The woman who knows he is married and is coming between you deserves what she gets if she ends up with him.

What came First: The Chicken or the Egg and Why? How can you have a chicken if there is no egg and how can you have an egg if there is no chicken? I wish I had an answer to this does anyone have a theory?

juleek Does it really matter? If it evolved then it had to create another chicken either by cells dividing or through it splitting off of itself. Either way, the organism (the chicken) would have come first and then it would have evolved into an egg laying creature.

juleek I like my name because it is a fairly common name but it is spelled differently than the way most people spell it. I spell my name Julee.

Empty Nest Syndrome

When my last three kids left home to make their way into the world, it was one of the most difficult times in my life. I suffered with "empty nest syndrome" so badly. Has anyone else suffered through this?

juleek I have a lot of years before I have to worry about this. I am sure it is quite difficult when all the kids have left home. Find a hobby or get involved in a club or organization. Just learn to stay busy and keep healthy.

My favorite flavor of doritos is ranch.I used to like the nacho cheese the best but now I like the ranch one the best.I dont like ranch dressing though which is strange I guess as to why I like the ranch chips better.

juleek I don't like to shave because it is a chore. However, just like any other chore it has to be done so I do it. I think it looks better to be clean shaven than to have hair all over your legs.

juleek I don't agree. I think she is rude and hateful and says really terrible things to people just because she doesn't agree with her politics. She also lies about people too and that doesn't make her a very beautiful person.
