lyricsmama I'm one of those people who never goes to the dr. I figure why waste the money, unless i'm in a state where i just can't take care of it myself then i'll go. I hate dr's, they're humans, they don't know everything IMO. My husband is the same way.

lyricsmama I don't think there's any way to really stop them. My daughter is 3 as well, and throws MAJOR tantrums when she doesn't get her way. We've since taken EVERY toy she owns away, she also looses tv time and computer time when she doesn't listen and starts...

lyricsmama Because I don't believe in one set 'god'. My opinion. There may be a higher power, it may be a source of energy not a 'god' as some people believe. Thats my thoughts.

lyricsmama I believe there is a "higher power" of sorts. I don't really call them "god", and I don't know if that "higher power" is a man or a women or even a person at that.

Do you listen to the dr's or "experts" about how you parent? or how you should parent? Do you do what "THEY" say you should/shouldn't do, or do you follow your own and/or your childrens lead??

lyricsmama I feel the same way. I'll listen, but more than likely won't take the advice. No one is an expert on my children except me, each child just like each adult is different and IMO only the parents of that child knows what is best or right for that child.

lyricsmama I use a mixture of things. Max Factor, Revlon, Bare Minerals and Laura Geller. I'm really starting to get into the higher end makeup now as I get older, it does make your skin look a lot better than just using the 'cover girl' that you find in the drug store.
