How to maintain your Notebook computer's Lithium -Ion battery?

Most of the notebook battery could last almost 2 years. I want to lengthen its usage life, could you pls give some suggestion to maintain the battery?

mandysdad One of the easist ways is to use the power cord as much as you can. I have also heard that if you remove the battery when using the cord it might last longer since it is not charging when it does not need to.

mandysdad I didn't, but it is still one of my favorite movies. I also think it was one of Tom Hanks best. The funny thing is I remember most of what he is said to have been involved in. IE:The Smiley Face shirt.

Do you put your laptop in its bag at night?

I've just been leaving my laptop on my desk after shutting it down every night and its already got a layer of dust on it. Is this harmful? Should I put it back in the bad every night? What is the best option?

mandysdad If you will not be using it for a while,I would say put it in the bag. The dust will not hurt it. Do you cover your tv when you are done watching it? As long as it is not a sandy type of dust like we have here in Fl it should be fine to leave it out.

I am planning to buy a computer.For me there is no need to carry it.But i feel having a laptop is stylish.But i have to pay more for a laptop.I am confused.What to do? Please help

mandysdad It all depends on what you want to use it for. On the one hand a laptop is nice because you can surf the internet while watching tv. On the other hand desktops are nice because you can upgrade them much easier. So you need to decide what you want to do with...

mandysdad My 'puter' is all of the above for me. I use it to download things, keep in touch with family and friends as well as earn $ on sites like this. I don't know how I could function without it. It went down a little while ago, and I just felt lost.

mandysdad I am not really worried. I have an antivirus installed and as of yet I have never gotton any type of virus. I am sure it will hit some people,but I am not going to be one of them. I will most likley use my puter on that day.

mandysdad I taught myself about computers. Of course I did read books on the operation systems to get a better understanding of how to get around in them. The hardware stuff I mostly learned through trial and error. I even use my training to help repair other peoples...

mandysdad I have AVG all in one. It has a firewall and a antivirus and spyware. I scan a least once a week. Most of the time it catches anything before it has a chance to install anything.

mandysdad Sometimes there make be a program that can cause the BSOD(Blue screen of death.) This is one of the problems with computers. If a piece of code causes a problem the computer will crash or lock up or show the BSOD. It is also possible that spyware or a virus...

mandysdad True Syd Barrett was one of the founding members, however Pink Floyd really got off the ground after he left and Roger Waters pretty much steped in to fill the void. After Syd keft is when Pink Floyd became who the are today.
