melycota I am working with a dr. Its a low calorie, high fruit and vegetable and low bread and pasta (no rice). Its actually not so bad. But, you can't eat like I did today. 6 years is a long time for a diet, what kind of diet are you on?

I went to the farmer´s market and couldn´t but buy a big amount of Brussel sprouts as they were exceptionally beautiful. I usually boil them and then fry some shreded bacon and mix with them. Any other idea? Please share. I´m sure...

melycota Soy also mimics estrogen in the body... Children that are bottle fed soy milk instead of mothers milk or cow based formulas make the same amount of extra hormones as is they would swallow 5 birth control pills a day.

melycota Don't forget that we are eating all of the stress from the animals too... Caged animals stress more and then we eat the stress. Some people think that is the reason for people nowadays to be so stressed.

melycota Some synthetic products actually have MORE nutrients. The problem is that there is no proof that our bodies can absorb the nutrients from synthetic. Not really the same as organic vs conventional.

melycota Exactly. Besides the USDA has only took adults into consideration when figuring out is pesticides were harmful for the body. It is unknown, how many pesticides toddlers can handle without facing long term health effects.

melycota In Mexico they sell water based ice cream with flavors like lime, and mango, and tamarindo and they sprinkle chili powder on it and it tastes AWESOME. Because it's so cold, your tongue doesn't burn.
