I'm into heavy metal or heavy rock music and I went to a small time concert around my town just last week to see the local bands play. I feel sad to see the number of people going into this kind of shows going down. It's just so...

I once had an English Teacher in High school who told me (infront of 15 other students) that I'm not good enough.
It was after class and she, being the head of the school paper, gathered us in the small room we (writers and...

mhike_ghelo Maybe it was not bad at all what had happened to you. Your teacher became an eye-opener to you and made you a better writer. I hope you can meet your former mentor once again and I'm sure he/she will be proud of what you have attained. Well, I did not like the...

I have been a member of many both social and financial rewarding sites over the years now. For me one of the greatest aspects has become the rewarding and supportive friendships that I discover on those sites.

Well, I just received notice I was paid something just under $4 here at myLot.
I enjoy being paid, even if it is little money. I enjoy the folks here at myLot. What I don't enjoy are the crude advertisements.
So I am not going...

Today's Into the Groovy (#54) takes us to Israel, home of the late Ofra Haza (1957 - 2000), who was born in Tel Aviv to Yemenite parents.
Ofra Haza had a beautiful voice, whether singing in English or in her native tongue. It...

Thomas Jefferson first coined that expression many years ago. True to form, does it really make you healthy, wealthy and wise? I believe so. When I first started going to the gym, two weeks ago, I had my alarm clock to wake me up...

mhike_ghelo Yes, healthy in a way that it is the proper time to sleep and my body rejuvenate the blood cells needed. In that manner, I can be wealthy since I can perform my a job and be productive. Wise, indeed, since I'm doing the right thing. I get to sleep at around 8...

What comes into your mind when you read this, "Actor "weds" a tree in Mexico".
My first thought was, is he crazy? Or something like that.
Jumped into conclusions, without reading the...

mhike_ghelo I agree with that just reading the title itself sometimes we tend to create our immediate conclusion without traversing the whole article. I think it's just a abrupt response to some and worst is that they even post their comments and start to bash without...

mhike_ghelo I really hate this kind of set-up where in the politicians even bribe the voters and blind them with just petty amounts. Then if they got elected, they left the people behind just to there thing. Steal money from the nation and worst no improvements made.

mhike_ghelo You need to boost your immune system by taking the right vitamins such as vitamin C. The school doctor should also consider looking at the children to avoid contamination and at least prevent any diseases. I hope you get better soon and have a nice rest as...
