michelledarcy Oh no, you poor thing. I have done something silly like that too. When I was 15 I was asked out by my first boyfriend. I was excited to tell my mum when I got home that I put my hand down on the cooker when I was talking to her and didn't realise for a while...

michelledarcy I agree with you there. My mum is always sayign I look unhealthy if I lose some weight. I'm not skinny at all. I am a size 14. I am 5ft 7 and weigh just under 11 stone so I'm far from skinny. However I'm often told that it is my vegan diet that is making me...

michelledarcy I have seen cards in charity shops too already. I think it is much much too early. If you start seeing things around so early you build up for so long that when Christmas comes around it is a big let down. Also the kids start asking for presents already and if...

And what would you do about it? As the schools go back here in England, there has been lots of media coverage on the subject of bullying. It is actually scary how many kids have their lives made a misery by bullies at school, but...

michelledarcy I was bullied a lot as a child. When I told my parents it didn't seem to make much difference. When the school caught it happening on one occassion the girl was punished and it was reduced a lot to just petty teasing that I could put up with.
My eldest...

I was just reading a report on the Internet about TV watching for children http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070904/hl_nm/attention_television_dc_1
It says that studies have been done which prove children who watch more than 3 hours...

michelledarcy I think that watching TV is bad for you. I'm not sure whether it causes ADHD but I know that if I'm watching TV it draws me in and away from real life, and I start being addicted and want to watch it more and more.
I only use my TV so the kids can watch...
