militarywife I'm not sure why it should be overcome. I mean, if you are shy to the point that it inhibits you greatly, and you can't function in social or professional environments, that's one thing... but if you are just naturally quiet, I don't think there's anything...

militarywife I hate milk with a vehement passion. Gross. Gross, gross, gross. I have always hated it. Ironically, I am the only one of my parents' children to be lactose tolerant. I take calcium supplements to get around my hatred of it.

militarywife I come up with little rules for myself. I can't do things like say, "I will exercise 30 minutes a day." Or even, "I will only consume 1000 calories a day." It's easier to just forbid myself from certain behaviors. For example... I do not drive on weekdays....

Who do you think makes a better soldier and why? I, am a woman, but I think a man makes a better soldier.. I think that women have more sensitivty then men and this may get in the way if they have to "shoot the enemy".
