So many blog posts I read have a cute, decorative signature as the blogger "signs" the post. How do you do that? I see the options are very limited in the post page...anyone know how to make those whimsical decorative signatures...

I am looking for a pattern for a large purse/tote for a 7 year old. I intended on doing a jean purse like I used to, but I think I want something bigger and more "girly" for her age. I plan to make it like a travel bag...a book,...

I have been trying to make a good homemade pizza crust/dough for some time now. And finally am really close! I use a bread machine and the recipe that comes with the machine. The crust was ok. Crispy like I like it, but thin and...

my52cents After this, I really may have to start looking for a new bread machine! I haven't replaced mine since our fire, but I hadn't used it much in a few years. The idea of pizza crust, though, and especially with the egg idea, sounds so very good. And since I love...

Just posted pics of the 3 quilts I finished this week. Minnie Mouse, Strawberry Shortcake and American Flag. I have to keep at least 2 projects going at once as I get tired of working with the same color, the same pattern, the...

My brother is coming to visit next month and bringing me one of my mom's sewing machines since I lost mine in our fire. Not totally sure what I'll do, but I'll start small and see...

Spring is here finally. The sun is shining, and it's getting nice warm outside. It makes me feel happy, I was born in August, and I love spring and summer - our climate is continental.
In the winters I'm rather...

my52cents Interesting thought that I had never considered. I was born in August, too, and definitely prefer spring, summer, and fall, though I appreciate winter and it's not so bad to be out as long as I'm dressed for it. I'd much rather be out in hot weather than cold,...

my52cents Congratulations on your house - and your big kitchen! That's very exciting news. Since we're in a rented duplex right now (since our house fire) with a small-ish kitchen that doesn't get much air circulation, I've been waiting until the weather cools down to...

my52cents Click on the orange Firefox link at the top left of the screen. The mouseover "options." There you should see "Bookmarks Toolbar" and I bet it isn't checked. Check it and it should re-appear. Not sure why those checkmarks sometimes go away, but they do. Hope...

my52cents Wow, that's a great question! I never thought of that, but since more than one person's involved in the conversation, I'm thinking it won't delete off that other person's page. Hope someone who knows will give a definitive answer.
Of course the "watch what...

my52cents What a fiasco. I'm so sorry you're going through it and you've lost so much money. I recently saw a piece on the local news that stated clearly that if you get fake money, the bank can't replace it with real money. Instead, it gets turned over to the Secret...

my52cents I use the Firefox browser which has a popup blocker. I always get notifications at the top of my screen when I'm on MyLot that Firefox has blocked a popup. If it's only on MyLot that you get them, then I'd suggest either using Firefox with its popup blocker or...
