Nanette Piotrowski I have always had animals @RitzzView . I have 3 donkeys and 10 cats as we speak. I had an Akita (purebred Japanese dog) that weighed 150 pounds. He was my protector and loved me to the max. He was voice and hand command trained. By me!

Nanette Piotrowski I have 12 cats and 3 donkeys @Rashnag and yes they do understand us. I also ran an animal shelter for several years and had 106 dogs at one time and I taught them commands (kinda like Police dogs) and it was easy to do. Simple 1 or 2 words and hand motions....

Nanette Piotrowski I know, I always feel sorry for the critters in crappy weather @DianneN . Although at my place, the Raccoon's, Foxes, Deer, Rabbits, Roadrunners, etc., get fed. That's why my bill is roughly $500 PLUS every month for feed.
