Anne sews a lot, sometimes through newspaper, cardboard (on this last project) and thick layers of cloth too. That is a lot of wear on needles.
She happened to mention yesterday that she had misplaced her needle sharpener....

I Am Ashamed To Say I Lost My User's Name!
Hello everyone. I am embarrassed to say that I couldn’t remember my User’s name to sign in to this site. The name itself was okay but the numbers is what was so troublesome!
So, Happy...

Priscilla King Definitely not "Like"! I don't know you, only stumbled across this because an old e-friend left a comment on it, but am glad your family survived.
Hmm...I don't plan to visit this site daily, but will "following" help the teeny-weeny payout grow faster?

Cats seem so fond of computers
in front of the screen is their seat,
they walk all over the keyboard
such fun when they hit that 'delete'!
They think we humans are servants
to pander to their slightest whim.
They can't resist...

Priscilla King Has anyone else had a cat step on the computer and actually show them something they hadn't figured out yet?

Thank you, my fellow MyLotters! (Is that what we call ourselves? Help me with the terminology. I'm lost!)
I just checked the earnings thing (been here under two hours) and I'm seeing there's already a total of (stomps hoof)19.4...

You never see an ugly short rich woman with a beautiful tall poor man but you often see ugly short rich guys with young tall beautiful women. I think rich guys are sad who decide to compromise on love to be with a trophy woman...

Priscilla King I'm 5'4" so it's not been much of an issue...My Significant Other is 6'4". Guys who didn't make the cut have said things like "Just because I'm not 7' tall." Sorry, that's not the reason. If I knew of a man who was 5'2", drug and disease-free, started out poor...

I hate this feeling of being "in limbo" with this prospective job I had mentioned earlier. I took a second drug test, filled out an application for backgrounds and got fingerprinted. I have however not heard from the HR lady since...

Adolph Hitler hated cats.
The photo shows Sonny James. I've written about him. He's my photo persona. He is pretty photogenic. Or maybe I am just prejudiced.
Those who know me know that I treasure this silly guy....

Priscilla King People who hate cats tend to be sociopathic. Hitler was sociopathic (and also on drugs) and should only have died about twenty years earlier than he did. Living cat haters should get help before they build up to attacking humans, and definitely get themselves...

Last night I made a declaration of" No communication" for a week or more at my own discretion, starting today.
I'm not sure if what I am doing is right, but that's the thing came in my mind as best solution to give each other a...

Priscilla King Whatever it takes.
My husband and I had only one Real Disagreement (unresolvable while it lasted: two different relatives in different places would've been better off if both of us had been with them). It non-resolved in his favor, sort of--we stayed with...

For Christmas, my husband and I bought ourselves DNA testing from Ancestry.com. Yesterday, we received our results, and they were not quite what I expected.
I was always told that my father was French-German. My mother believed...

Priscilla King Anyone whose ancestors have been in the U.S. very long is likely to discover a wild mixture of DNA. Actually I'm aware of some fairly mad mixture even in Britain--before discovering DNA they counted people as being "pure" anything by tracing the male line of...

Priscilla King Oh, the plague of the "face readers." They tend to think I look kind when what's actually going through my head is "how to edge away before a conversation starts," and look "fierce" when my interest finally is engaged. The mere thought of someone trying to...

Priscilla King My favorite method? Buy cheap Chinese-made socks, wear'em around the house as house slippers for a week, then compost them. (If still intact, they'd be guaranteed to fall apart in the laundry, so why bother.) There's a local woman who makes a living selling...

Priscilla King Ought to be funny enough to be worth watching, if I weren't in a public place with sound disabled (I almost always am). My Significant Other was a Green Beret in Vietnam and up-voted John Wayne's portrayal of one...and I like Goldie Hawn (a fellow knitter whom...
