I cannot compare both operating system, because until now I still have not tried using any version of Linux. I have known some info about it from some blogs and forums that it's much stable than Windows and uses less...

shaaniam Windows is mostly prefered for entertaintment purposes and as for general user. Linux is used by the experts and for programmer... As i am both so uses windows and linux both with little preferance to windows
