CaseyMolyneux In my whole life? Maybe 300, give or take a few. I keep all of the receipts from the public library so that one day I can go through them and get that great nostalgic feeling. Remind myself of the books I've read, sort of keep up my appreciate for them....

CaseyMolyneux My guess is because at the time that the book was written, politics in Great Britain were patriarchal and women were underrepresented in matters of combat.

I just heard that J.D. Salinger died today. Although he was 91 years old and died of natural causes, I'm still saddened by this. May he rest in peace.
