HighReed1 I am too soft-hearted to do that. That's probably why I could never have a working farm. I would get WAY too attached to the animals...naming them and so on.

sunshine4 Only the cow. I think that I would become attached to the other animals. If I owned a cow it would be for the sole purpose to eat it.

wiccania A cow, absolutely. A duck or chicken, probably -- I don't see that I would get incredibly attached to either. I wouldn't eat my dog or cats, I wouldn't have eaten any of my rabbits. And t be honest, I wouldn't own a pot belly pig.

crazynurse Nope, I know myself well enough to know that I would get attached and attach a personality to the animal and would not be able to kill/eat it! If I don't know the animal in question, as with pork, beef and others that I buy at the market, then I am okay. But...
