Silverchic I think this is a bit outdated - it may have worked 1000 years ago but certainly wouldn't work in today's culture. I do so many things that I couldn't do if I was forbidden from wearing pants! I pretty much live in jeans all year round and where I work it...

Silverchic With family we usually take either a plate of nibblies for an entree type thing, or dessert. Friends, it's usually a bottle of wine (or other alcohol that they drink). I don't know why it's different though...I mean we don't usually take alcohol to family...
