Can you swim?

It doesn't matter if you currently swim, I would just like to know if you CAN swim. I'm rather odd in that I can swim below water, but once I come for air, all I can do is dog paddle. And I don't know if that would save my life...

SoCali2No I was diagnosed with scoliosis around age 11. They made me wear a back brace and do some exercises at home. And, then they told me that once I hit 18 I shouldn't worry about it because my spine won't grow any more so the scoliosis won't get any worse....
