To Marry Her Boyfriend??? Have an Abortion??
You found out that your daughter is 2 months pregnant. She's scared to tell you because she doesn't know what you will say and do..She's still a minor, so you have decisions to...

TechnoMom I certainly wouldn't pressure her to marry her boyfriend, because that would just compound the problems. If she's a minor, she's too young for marriage, too. If she's immature enough to get pregnant accidentally, she definitely isn't ready for marriage.
I...

Hi, first I would introduce myself, I am soft spoken, sensitive, shy and a possessive kind of boy. I came across a girl Maya whom I thought can be my life partner. We both live in different cities. For two months everything was...

TechnoMom You "allowed" her to meet boys? What are you, her owner?
Seriously--get a grip. And why did you have her password? What business do you have spying on anyone?
She has lied to you, and in your shoes I'd break it off--but I seriously think you need to work...

Monday my husband went to work a 6 am. and as soon as they walked through the door, they were doing random drug tests. Apparently, over the weekend, there was a big party, that alot of them went to. As soon as they got to work all...

TechnoMom It isn't a "set up" or entrapment (as someone else called it) unless the company provided the illegal drugs. It's far more likely that someone else who was at the party mentioned something that alerted management, who ordered the tests.
It's beyond belief...

Can anyone tell me what it is like to live in Atlanta Georgia? My sister is planning to move with her family to Atlanta at the end of February. There are a million and one reasons why I do not want her to go. But it is something,...

TechnoMom I've lived in Georgia all of my adult life, and most of that has been in the Atlanta area, so I don't have a lot of experience to speak from.
I can tell you, though, that Atlanta has a very healthy economy, and it's the most culturally diverse place in the...

still read it as your main Bible or do you buy a different translation? I was raised on the KJV and I have gotten the RSV as a gift, plus I bought the Message and the New King James Version, and the NIV, although I did get a...

TechnoMom The NIV is generally regarded as a much better translation than the KJV. The production of the KJV was very politically influenced, because the translators knew that they'd be in a lot of trouble (and maybe dead) if the king and his court weren't happy with...

Takes things away from you.
My husband owns EVERYTHING, except for the things that I brought with me. That happens to be next to nothing, really. Now, because he owns these things, that gives him the right to take them away...

TechnoMom When I was younger, I refused to have any disagreement in front of ANYONE. Over time, I realized that if our kids didn't see me and my partner working out differences in a healthy way, they wouldn't have any idea how to do that. So depending on the topic, I...

I am planning to sing a solo for our Church spring concert, and I suppose there are those who have to deal with copyright issues, the accompanist needs the piece, the soloist needs the piece and even if it is on public domain,...

TechnoMom There aren't many places in our area that sell printed music anymore except for Christian bookstores, so I don't have much choice other than ordering online.
If I get a book that has a lot of songs I'm likely to sing, I buy two copies, so there's no trouble...

TechnoMom One of my girlfriends absolutely detests roses, because she associates them with an ex who kept doing truly awful things, then sending her roses. She can't even stand the smell of them!
I just love fresh flowers. I'm mostly homebound, and I'm allergic to...
