Inspired by a thread on mistakes in cooking pasta, here is the number one mistake I've noticed in pizzas, expecially if I eat it outside of Italy:
The margherita pizza should have tomato, cheese and BASIL.
Basil, not oregano!...

eiencafe well said Rowena! yeah even in the frosted pizza they put oregano on the cheese, it tased yuck! I've never had a Margherita with oregano here in italy only when I buy frosted one... You know here Napolitan is tomato, oregan and anchovies... the one you wrote...
