landaloo yes you really do need to use the oven. But if you insist on trying to use the microwave for cake then you should try those dessert bowls. I think Betty Crocker makes them. And even those will get hard on the outside and unbaked in the middle.

landaloo I think they are great for privacy. And you are right in getting the kind that are easy to unlock from the outside. Once my daughter lock herself inside of our bedroom and it was scary but we got her out quickly because you can open the door with a long nail....
