Have you ever cracked a metal pan??

I have never done it, but myth has it you can crack your metal pan by taking it straight from heat to cold water. I truely have done this countless times and never happened.

my3angels whenever I can't fall asleep I pick up a book. It only takes a few minutes and my eyes begin to droop and my head bobs. I put the book down and drift off to sleep. Like you, in the morning I can't remember what I've read. Must be a common problem

my3angels When my dear heart was employed I did the cooking and washing up every night. Now that he is retired he does all the cooking and has announced that its only fair if he cooks I should do the washing up. Now why didn't I think of that!
