odwyerhl I have never read this book but I will now put it on my list to read. It sounds good. By the way, I always read the book before watching the movie. It is usually better. I feel you get to know the characters better when reading a book.

odwyerhl The one small Kitchen appliance I cannot do without is my Pampered Chef Mandolin slicer with 4 differnt attachments. It slices thin or thicker, shreds, and juliennes. I can cut up onions faster, usually before I have a chance to start crying.

odwyerhl The flavor is more important of course. Diet ice cream just does not taste good. In general it seems the more calories it has, the better it tastes.
