I heard on the news a week or so ago that about 84 cops had been killed across the US this year. I think this is horrible. I also think that cops that are cruel and mistreat perps are bad news too. I wonder what is going on in...

Yep, topffer's to blame the impulse purchase I made on eBay last night.
He was the one who mentioned that whenever he has issues with his devices he looks online for a tutorial for dismantling them so he can troubleshoot the...

Sorry I'm late.... life got in the way so today you will get two so we stay on track.
Today's question is: Is your home a spotless showcase, clean to the edges, a muddled mess, a lived in castle, a cluttered...

Just read an article from a local news outlet. A local man is outraged after his daughter came to him one day and said "daddy this book is strange." He starts reading the novel, highlighting a few passages that are explicit in...

I wonder how many among you are in love with someone secretly - some despite being in a relationship already. Love is so subtle. It just happens. I also have been loving someone for years - more than a decade now but the reality...

Phyrre My husband is the person that I secretly loved, but we did end up together. I do tell him, though, that the only person I would leave him for is Josh Groban. xD And then I had a dream where I got to meet Josh Groban and told him that story and we laughed and I...

Do you start your day with prayer, mediation, exercise, or some kind of ritual?
I always need to start with prayer. I sit for a while when everyone leaves home to do some scriptural meditation, then I potter around my garden....

Phyrre I have a routine! Sort of. It gets thrown off now and then on mornings like this morning when I slept an hour late. xD But I tend to try to get up at 4:30, exercise for 15 minutes right off the bat just to get things moving, have my coffee, do a little work,...

So how do you all choose who to follow in here?
I'm wondering since when I'm on I go to the "Explore" page more often than the "People" page and I join in whatever discussions that interest me there. Or is it about building...

Phyrre I really don't make it a point to follow many people. In the end, I think I mostly follow people that I find I'm continuously responding to their discussions and only because it's a really easy and convenient way to get to those discussions if I want to seek...

So hubby would like to at least TRY to raise our daughter bilingual. That would mean that he is the German part and I am the English part.
I am a bit hesitant. I am pretty good in English, my spoken English is at least on an...

Phyrre This is a really tricky decision! Hubby and I considered doing something like this with our daughter to sort of give her a leg up, especially since there's a large Hispanic population in this area and Spanish is a good language to know.
I talked to my former...

It occurred to me some time ago that the security questions that you have to answer when you log in to some websites - like your bank or credit account - are really not that secure. It's because when we choose which 3 security...

Phyrre I'm not very popular, so I don't have this problem. ;) Basically, I only get something suggested to me that I would eventually see anyway, but it makes it easier so I don't have to dig through everything.
It would be nice, though, if there was an option to...

I haven't been able to see nearly as many movie in 2015 as I would like. I have two young boys, one of them being 17 months so I rarely get out to the movies. So what movies did you see that were really good?

Phyrre We don't tend to go out to the movies that often anymore, either, since we had our daughter. We subscribe to Netflix, and sometimes when we're in town we might rent Redbox for the night and have movie night in, and that works really well.
I would say the best...
