mydogisdaisy If my son is with me I tell them to ask him...Usually a few minutes later they will cut him off and say ok ok I get the idea. He will go on for hours about his volunteering, the Civial Air Patrol, etc. When my son is not with me I just shrug my shoulders...

How old a child should be to be left alone at home?

I think 11 years old is mature enough to be left alone (12 years is legal in USA) without a baby sitter. A 13 year old can be left alone with younger sibling? What do you think.
