qouniq hey, i think the rice which owlwings was saying is the rice which we use normally in Malaysia. As far as i know, the long grain rice is like basmathi rice and taj mahal brand rice...so just use the normal rice which if am not mistaken the price is around RM...

qouniq If you don't have the proper blender, I think you can toast your bread either in toaster or oven and crush it in to crumbs/ powder using mortar and pastel manually.

qouniq i am not sure how u will get your pudding in nice look and structure if u did not liquidize it. If you have other way to make the bread blended then i think no need to liquidize it and can just add them directly. But may i know ahy are you refusing to blend it...

qouniq you need to make it liquidize so the pudding will have a fine texture when it done. the bread need to be pasture so the pudding will be in smooth texture.
