My mom works at a small company & she is there alone most of the time. It isn't in a very good neighborhood either. She actually keeps the door locked most of the time. They have a show room when you walk in the door, then you...

smalltownmtngirl My family used to run a used car lot in a very bad neighborhood. The building was just an old house and we were having a rough time and were living there for a couple of months. Someone tried to break in on several occasions but never during the day when we...

I'm sort of torn on this discussion. I've been with men who've been extremely emotional, others that weren't at all (or at least didn't show it).
On the one hand, I feel that it's good, if not healthy to be emotional at times....

smalltownmtngirl I think that totally depends on the situation. Showing your feelings and just being a big baby are totally different. It is definately healthy to let it out. If you keep things in too long it can come out in a very bad way. I believe there is a time and place...

After 3 months (first 2 months as inactive member), and 385 posting with one $0.20 task, I finally accomplished my first mission to reach $10. The first mission is the hardest but sweetest to be done.
My second mission is to...

smalltownmtngirl Well, you're definately doing better than me! LOL I have been a member for over 2 years and haven't reached $10 yet. Although I haven't been active for most of that time. I have recently started to get back into it tho. No real goals yet, but I thought I would...

smalltownmtngirl There's no telling why dogs do the things they do. She may be trying to tell you something, or maybe she just likes to play with them. Maybe she is just finicky and wants things where she wants them and when! LOL I have always wished that God would let us talk...

smalltownmtngirl I love all the CSI's but I would have to say Miami is my least favorite. David Caruso is what ruins it for me. He cannot walk and talk at the same time. They also tend to give more attention to the personal lives of the characters which makes it more like a...

smalltownmtngirl My daughter was about 1 and a half when she was trained. It was very easy, so I may have just been lucky. I started with a "Potty Chart" We made it together. I just put the days of the week on the top and every time she used the toilet she got to put a sticker...

smalltownmtngirl My daughter is almost 5 and getting her to take a nap is like pulling teeth. I think its just fine for them not to have a nap through the day. They tend to get very tired and very cranky, but if you can deal with that it just means an earlier bedtime. Which...

smalltownmtngirl I totally feel you on this topic. It seems like thats all kids know how to do these days. They've forgotten their manners, but somehow managed to master the art of bad attitude. The good thing is, they eventually grow out of it. Lets just hope they don't talk...
